Its important to be able to get support from those around during your pregnancy and post birth. If you are living with your partner, talk about your emotions and how this pregnancy has impacted you. With open communication your partner will be able to understand what is going on and help around the house with the cleaning, cooking or caring for the baby with you. You should also try to get support from family members or friends who may be able to batch cook some meals for you to freeze which will be helpful in those early days post birth. Other ways they may be able to help is looking for after other children you have or arranging for them to do the school run. Remember, that you do not have to carry the load alone or try to do everything yourself, By getting support where possible, you can focus on yourself and the baby so start delegating tasks to those around you.
